Controller and Its Email

Messages sent to contact@fortuna-vstup.cz go to the controller of personal data. This role is performed by the operator of fortuna-vstup.cz. Contact it with any query on the processing of data, and also whenever you want to exercise your rights.

What We Process and What We Do Not

Processing is limited to what is necessary for the operation, security and analytics of fortuna-vstup.cz, or for handling an email enquiry.

We process:

  • technical access data (IP address, time, URLs visited, device, browser, operating system) for running, securing and analysing the website;
  • cookies, under the rules set out in the Cookies part;
  • data from messages sent to contact@fortuna-vstup.cz: email address, text and a signature if you add one.

We do not process:

  • data connected with gambling,
  • data used for identity verification,
  • payment transaction data,
  • data of Fortuna players.

Why and on What Basis We Process Data

Our processing of personal data follows Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), Act No. 110/2019 Coll., on the processing of personal data, and, for cookies, § 89 of Act No. 127/2005 Coll., on electronic communications.

Website operation and security

Legal basis: the controller's legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Data are kept for 12 months at most, or as technical capabilities allow.

Analytical and marketing cookies

Legal basis: your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. They are kept until you withdraw consent or according to your browser settings.

Replying to an email enquiry

Legal basis: performance of a contract or legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR. Data are held while the enquiry is being handled, but no longer than 6 months.

Recipients and Reasons for Access

Recipient: hosting and CDN provider
Reason: operation, availability and security of the website

Recipient: web analytics provider
Reason: traffic statistics for optimising the website

These categories come into consideration only for the operation of the website and for analytical services. We name specific providers if they are publicly identifiable on the website. We do not provide data to other third parties without a legal basis, nor to unverified entities.

Transfers Outside the European Economic Area

Whether personal data reach a third country depends on the analytics tool used. If its provider has its seat outside the European Union or the European Economic Area, a transfer takes place; if we use no service outside the EU/EEA, it does not. Transfers to third countries rely on standard contractual clauses pursuant to Art. 46 GDPR, thanks to which data protection remains at an adequate level.

Rights Available to You

The GDPR, together with Act No. 110/2019 Coll., grants you a number of rights. For clarity, we group them into three areas.

Control over your data

You can find out which data we process about you (right of access, Art. 15), have inaccurate data corrected (Art. 16) and receive your data for transfer elsewhere (Art. 20) where they are processed by automated means on the basis of consent or a contract.

Limiting or ending processing

You have the right to erasure, or the “right to be forgotten”, under the conditions of Art. 17, and the right to restriction of processing under Art. 18.

Disagreeing with processing

You may object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21). Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it; this does not affect the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal.

How to Apply and When to Expect a Reply

The email address contact@fortuna-vstup.cz is used for exercising your rights. You can expect a reply without undue delay, but no later than 30 days after your request is delivered. If the request is complex or many requests arrive, the period may be extended by another two months. Should that happen, we will let you know.

Where to Complain

Supervision of personal data protection in the Czech Republic is carried out by the ÚOOÚ. If you believe that we have breached the law when processing your data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with it.

Protecting Data Against Misuse

The security of personal data rests on a combination of technical and organisational measures whose level matches the current state of the art and which prevent unauthorised access to the data. Data travel between your device and the server in encrypted form via HTTPS/TLS. In addition, the controller regularly checks whether security is set up correctly and, where necessary, takes further measures against misuse of the data.

Overview of Cookies and Storage

What is a cookie?

A tiny text file that a website saves on your device. It serves the proper functioning of the website, traffic analysis and sometimes the personalisation of content or ads.

Which types of cookies are there?

Essential cookies keep the basic functions of the website running; without them it might not work properly. They may be used without consent under § 89(3) of Act No. 127/2005 Coll. Analytical cookies (anonymised statistics on website use) and marketing cookies (personalised advertising, tracking of behaviour across websites) are stored by the website only with your consent.

Where is your consent stored?

In the browser's local storage under the name ck-consent, not in a cookie. How long it stays there depends on your browser settings.

What does Google Analytics do until you agree?

It runs in Consent Mode with analytics storage set to “denied”. Storage is only enabled once you accept.

How can you manage cookies?

  • Firefox: Options, Privacy & Security, Cookies and Site Data;
  • Edge: Settings, Cookies and site permissions, Cookies and site data;
  • Chrome: Settings, Privacy and security, Cookies and other site data;
  • Safari: Preferences, Privacy, Manage Website Data.

Your browser's help also explains how to block cookies.

Development of This Policy

Data protection law develops over time, and the way in which the website processes data may also change. In either case, this policy may be updated. The controller informs about significant changes on the website and recommends that you check its wording on a regular basis.
